Andes Heliboarding ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website, contact us or travel with us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Andes Heliboarding, Luis Pasteur 5850, Of. 403, Vitacura, Santiago, Chile. For any privacy question or request, write to martin@andesheliboarding.com.
We process personal data in accordance with Chilean Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and, once it enters into force, Law No. 21.719. For visitors and clients located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also apply the principles and rights of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not collect card numbers on this website. Health data is sensitive data: we only ask for what is needed for your safety in the mountains, and only process it with your explicit consent.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your inquiries and prepare quotes, based on your request.
- To manage your booking and deliver the Services: accommodation, transport, flights, guiding, rentals and concierge. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep you safe: group allocation by ability, emergency response, coordination with rescue and medical services. Based on your consent and, in an emergency, on protecting your vital interests.
- To meet legal obligations: accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
- To share news and offers about future seasons, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To publish images of the activities for marketing, as described in our Terms & Conditions. You can object at any time for future publications.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your data when it is necessary to deliver the Services or required by law, with:
- Hotels, lodges, yachts and transport providers.
- Helicopter operators and pilots.
- Partner guides.
- Insurers, rescue and medical services.
- Banks and payment providers.
- Accountants and legal advisers.
- Public authorities, when required by law.
These recipients may only use your data for the purpose for which it was shared.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers, such as email, messaging and website hosting services, may store data outside Chile, including in the United States. When we transfer data abroad, we use providers that offer adequate safeguards for its protection.
6. This website, cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To display the site correctly, your browser connects to:
- Our hosting provider, which receives your IP address and technical logs.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces and receives your IP address.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and email open services operated by those companies, which are subject to their own privacy policies. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent when required.
7. How long we keep it
- Inquiry data: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Booking, payment and accounting records: for the periods required by Chilean tax and commercial law.
- Safety and health data: deleted or anonymized once the trip and any related claims are closed.
- Marketing data: kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights
You may, at any time and free of charge:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify data that is inaccurate.
- Delete your data (cancellation).
- Object to its processing, or ask us to block it.
- Port your data, where applicable.
- Withdraw any consent you gave.
To exercise these rights, write to martin@andesheliboarding.com with your request and enough information to identify you. We will answer within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the competent data protection authority.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people who need it to deliver your trip. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we encourage you not to send sensitive data through open channels unless we request it.
10. Minors
Our Services are booked by adults. Data about minors who travel with their families is provided and authorized by their parents or legal guardians, and is used only to deliver the Services.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated on this website.
